Back in June 2021, Julie from Mundesley Surf lifesaving Club approached Labyrinth Mini Movies and asked if we fancied filming some of their member’s training on Mundesley beach.

We jumped at the chance and just a few days later popped down and started to film a group of seniors training and eventually going into the sea with their surfboards.

We managed to get some great photos but more importantly some brilliant video of the evening, and here is the movie that was made.

The next video that we made for Julie in June was of her team of juniors. What a great way for young people to be part of the community and learn to be safe on the beach while exercising too. They had so much energy and enthusiasm, it was a pleasure to film them.

Around this time Julie had started fundraising for the Rondel family who is well-loved and known within the local community. Unfortunately, very recently their oldest son Christian who is 16 has been diagnosed with acute leukaemia. To help raise the money she organised a ‘Dawn Till Dusk Paddle’, where many local surf and life-saving members joined up and put someone in the water on a paddle for the entire time the sun was in the sky. They faced some cold temperatures and strong waves with many of them staying in the water for hours at a time, but they did it!
